Workplace Environment and Employee Satisfaction at the Institute of Informatics SAS

In early October, the Institute of Informatics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences welcomed Prof. Martin Vaculík and his team, who are conducting a comprehensive survey of our workplace environment and employee satisfaction.

The survey aims to better understand employees’ perspectives on their working environment, interpersonal relationships, and the overall workplace atmosphere.

While we are still awaiting the official and detailed survey results, the meeting itself already provided encouraging feedback. Our board quickly filled with green notes highlighting positive experiences and observations. What initially seemed like a formal evaluation turned into an enjoyable opportunity for open discussion, team connection, and strengthening our sense of community.

At the Institute of Informatics SAS, we believe that beyond scientific achievements, publications, and successful research projects, a supportive working environment is equally important. Healthy interpersonal relationships, open communication, mutual respect, and an atmosphere where everyone feels heard and valued are essential to our collective success.

We sincerely thank the Presidium of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Prof. Martin Vaculík, and his team for this valuable initiative. We look forward to receiving the survey results and employee feedback, which will help us continue improving our workplace environment.
