The IEEE Workshop on Design and Diagnostics of Electronic Circuits and Systems provides a forum for exchanging ideas, discussing research results, and presenting practical applications in the areas of design, test, and diagnosis of microelectronic circuits and systems.

DDECS 2008 will take place in April 2008 in Bratislava, Slovakia. The workshop is organised by the Institute of Informatics, and co-sponsored by the Test Technology Technical Council (TTTC) of the IEEE Computer Society . DDECS 2008 is partially supported by the International Visegrad Fund within the Small Grant Programme.

Past workshops took place in other Central European countries: Czech Republic (1997, 2002, 2006), Poland (1998, 2003, 2007), Hungary (2001, 2005) and Slovakia (2000, 2004). The DDECS workshops are presented at ddecs.org.
